I'm not sure how it's already the end of April... spring shows are starting next weekend! For this weekend though, check out two great spots, Flourish Gallery at 3020 N Lincoln who has a fantastic You Are Beautiful exhibit going on. Also the Urban Folk Circuit is going to be at their pop-up shop held inside Architectural Revolution (3226 N Clark) through Sunday. Have a great weekend!

Hey look at that... it's December. I'm heading out to Washington D.C. this afternoon with my mom and husband to see the sights and take a whole memory card worth of pictures. That's a lot.

New show added! Finally doing another Urban Folk Circuit show and within walking distance of my home, how awesome is that? I love the Bottom Lounge... should be a great fall afternoon. If not, at least they have many fabulous beers for me to choose from...

Renegade Craft Fair was amazing and I know it is impossible to get into (I still can't believe I got in) but if you are able to, it was the absolute best show to sell at. Everyone at the show genuinely was excited about really unique, cool crafts. The vibe was awesome. AND Mayor Rahm Emanuel is now the proud owner of some Madcanvases tile coasters! Gotta say that was a pretty sweet moment shaking his hand!

Although the end was pretty damp, Retro on Roscoe was a good fest. Thanks again to everyone who stopped by the tent even though it was ridiculously humid in there. Massive battery operated fans are now on my shopping list.

After one weekend of "the real job" work and three weekends of art shows, I am taking off on Thursday for a mini vacation at Castle Rock Lake, WI. Any emails will be returned when I get back to reality on Monday! In the meantime, I think my first day of laying out by the pool this summer is SEVERELY overdue!

One new event I wanted to mention is the Buy Art Not People benefit going on next Friday July 22nd and Saturday July 23rd at Black Cloud Gallery in Pilsen.
